Meet the artist & maker

Freya’s experimental approach to painting and materials embraces a sense of flux in the way we view the world. As well as experiencing the landscape through drawing and painting, she loves to walk and swim outside and this way of moving through the land finds its way into her paintings. A keen traveller, she has painted in the Himalayas, Canadian Rockies and Kenya’s Rift Valley, as well as closer to home in Britain and Europe.
