Meet the artist & maker

Shona studied at Gray’s School of Art, in Aberdeen and The School of Jewellery, in Birmingham. She now lives on the outskirts of York. Shona’s main influence for her work is British wildlife from majestic stags to delicate butterflies. She works mainly with sheet silver saw-piercing each piece by hand and then drawing back into it with a fine steel point. Clean simple lines contain intricate details to create wearable pieces of art.
