Meet the artist & maker

Rae graduated with a Degree in Illustration from Manchester Metropolitan University in 1993. She has illustrated children’s picture books, produced artwork for magazines and newspapers and exhibited across the UK. Her work is influenced by Japanese woodblock prints, mythology, literature and her immediate surroundings. Working largely in watercolour and gouache her work is driven by character and storytelling.
