Meet the artist & maker

A textile artist, Linda creates expressive, experimental work inspired by flawed and ageing surfaces, finding beauty in imperfection, corrosion, and transformation. Since first exploring textiles at 16, she has developed a practice rooted in mixed media, print, collage and fabric manipulation. A member of York Textile Artists and Head of Textiles at Archbishop Holgate’s School, York, Linda builds, distresses and rebuilds layered surfaces, producing richly tactile pieces that celebrate texture, colour and time.
