Ric’s illustrations are inspired by the architecture and cityscape of York. He uses acrylic paint, collage and dip pen to create original artworks.

Meet the artist & maker

Ric is a freelance illustrator and has lived in York for over ten years. He is often found sketching on the streets of York where much of his inspiration comes from. As well as drawing iconic buildings of York he loves to celebrate the independent shops, pubs and cafes in the city and believes them to be an integral part of the community.
