Lesley Shaw

Lesley creates figurative work, using mixed media and traditional printmaking techniques such as drypoint and monoprint. She works quickly and instinctively striving to capture the simplicity and beauty of form.

Meet the artist & maker

Since completing a BA (Hons) in General Illustration, Lesley has sold work at the Mall Galleries and the BBC and has been shortlisted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. More recently, Lesley’s work was selected for the Ferens Open, the British Art Prize and the Society of Women Artists. Lesley is a member of York Printmakers. She works from Pica Studios. in York.
