Patricia Qua

A graphic designer/ceramicist, Patricia creates striking one-off pots and functional ware in porcelain or stoneware. She uses inlay and nerikomi techniques, that combine colour and abstract patterns found in nature.

Meet the artist & maker

An Argentinian born Korean artist, Patricia began her creative journey with graphic design studies at Parsons NYC, and the Royal College of Art. Drawing from her background in print, TV graphics, and advertising, she brings a unique 2D sensibility and love of colour to her ceramics. She draws inspiration from abstract patterns found in nature. She has exhibited at the London Design Festival, been part of the Hepworth Wakefield Ceramics Fair and York Open Studios.
