Richard Whitelegg

Richard works mainly in silver but often produces commissions in gold or platinum. Influenced by art nouveau with his own distinctive twist, often incorporating gemstones.

Meet the artist & maker

Richard trained at St John Cass and continued his experience at Crown Designs. Then employed at York College as jewellery technician, later working as a blacksmith for 12 years, whilst continuing his jewellery work. Latterly he returned full-time to jewellery as well as teaching in his studio.
